US Urges Citizens to Leave Sudan in 48 Hours

White House spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre Thursday delivered a press conference saying Washington has intelligence showing the conflict in Sudan “is unlikely to improve” and called on U.S. citizens to evacuate the northeast African nation within the next 24 to 48 hours. Jean-Pierre also said the U.S. government is working tirelessly to present evacuation options for its citizens and remained in constant communication with those who have requested more information.
