Members of the UN Security Council held a briefing Wednesday to discuss unfolding developments in South Sudan. Several members of the permanent representatives to the United Nations shed light on the country’s upcoming December elections, the humanitarian crisis there, the fate of the country's transitional government, and several peace efforts in the region.
