UN Pauses Troop Exit From Somalia

The UN Security Council Thursday suspended for three months the withdrawal of the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia, also known as ATMIS. This, as Somalia is experiencing the worst flooding in decades. According to Reuters, 29 people have been killed and more than 300 thousand displaced. The country is reeling from the worst drought in 40 years.
