International aid groups, including the United Nations have expressed concerns of famine and a major humanitarian crisis in al-Fashir, the capital of Sudan’s North Darfur state which has been profusely impacted by ongoing fighting between the Sudanese Armed Forces, SAF, and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces, RSF.
