Global Hunger Worsening, Sudan Among the Hungriest: Report [4:02]

Action Against Hunger recently released a report saying the global hunger funding gap has widened in the wake of the Russia-Ukraine war, which marked its one year anniversary Friday. The global humanitarian organization says 1 in 10 people worldwide go to bed hungry each night —the highest rate in decades — with African countries like Sudan and Somalia among the hungriest in the world. VOA’s Nabeel Biajo spoke with Eric Bebernitz, director of external relations at Action Against Hunger, about the report.
