Uganda’s City Oilers strives for BAL success

Ugandan players with the City Oilers, the East African nation’s team in the Nile conference of the 2024 Basketball Africa League, say they are excited for tip-off this weekend and hope to improve in this year’s campaign. The City Oilers made it to the semi-finals of last year’s season of the BAL - the premier African basketball tournament. They are grouped with Libyan BAL debutants, Al Ahly Ly Sporting Club, the Egyptian veterans, Al Ahly Sporting Club and Central Africa Republic’s Bangui Sporting Club.
