Tunisia’s US Monastir, Senegal’s AS Douanes dominate in Thursday’s BAL games
The action continued during the Sahara conference of season 4 of the Basketball Africa League at the Dakar Arena on Thursday. The first matchup of the day consisted of Tunisia’s US Monastir and Rwanda’s Armée Patriotique Rwandaise (APR), the two teams that opened the Sahara Conference last weekend with a win by Rwanda. Senegal also notched a win in the game, defeating Nigeria’s River’s Hoopers 56 to 54. VOA's Esther Githui-Ewart has the details.
