Tech Report: UN Initiative Aims to Regulate AI for Health
The Global Initiative on AI for Health, along with other stakeholders, is looking at regulating artificial intelligence (AI) for Health. The Initiative emphasizes the importance of establishing AI systems' safety and effectiveness and fostering dialogue among stakeholders, including developers, regulators, manufacturers, health workers, and patients. For more on the initiative, VOA Technology Correspondent Paul Ndiho spoke to Darlington Alogo, founder and CEO of Mino Health AI Labs in Ghana, who is currently attending the Global Initiative on AI in Riyad, Saudi Arabia.
