Tech Report: Ghana’s National STEAM Day
Ghana’s National Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics, STEAM, Day was born out of the need for young people in the country to be equipped with digital skills as the world experiences rapid technological growth. Analysts say individuals who adapt and think critically are more likely to succeed in an ever-changing, technology-driven society. Made up of a consortium of leading educators in Ghana, STEAM Day prepares students for a rapidly evolving job market. VOA's Paul Ndiho spoke to Eugenia Boadi, founder of Accra-based education company Steam She Can, about the importance of the day.
