Various civilian-led groups are participating in the search for democracy in Sudan. Many coalitions spearheaded the street protests that led to the ouster of former president Omar al Bashir. Bakry Madani, the spokesperson of the new civilian-led coalition called Taqadum, tells VOA’s John Tanza that a democratic transformation is the only realistic solution for crises in Sudan.
