SSudan Officials Criticize US Extension of National Emergeny Beyond 2023

Some South Sudanese government officials have expressed disappointment at the administration of U.S. President Joe Biden, for extending the national emergency for South Suday, beyong 2023. Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Deng Dau says the extension fails to recognize the country's progress toward peace.
