Spending time outdoors can prevent heart disease
According to studies in the National Library of Medicine, nature can help improve our mental health and help decrease our anxiety levels, stress and feelings of anger. Nature can also help improve our physical wellness, by reducing cortisol levels and muscle tension, among other things. Now, a long-term study suggests that spending time in green spaces, or by water, can help prevent heart disease.
