South Sudanese refugee in Sudan describes grueling journey to displacement camp
Many young girls fleeing the conflict in Sudan have encountered difficulties on their journeys to other states across Sudan. Hibaallah Eldeen Malith, 25, who escaped from Khartoum with her mother and three siblings to Port Sudan, says some men in uniform took away their valuables, including gold and money. Malith tells VOA’s John Tanza her journey from Khartoum to Port Sudan was tough.
