South Sudan woman spreads hope on World Refugeee Day
South Sudan refugee Mercy Akuot escaped a marriage her parents had arranged for her with a 56-year-old-uncle. Today, she and her three children live in Kenya’s Dadaab camp along with other refugees from her home country.
