South Sudan’s main opposition group says its members are in a state of panic as government security operatives intensify a crackdown, arresting senior officials and forcing others into hiding. The office of First Vice President Riek Machar has confirmed that the National Minister of Peace Building, Stephen Par Kuol, was arrested Thursday along with his bodyguards and a secretary in his office.
