Nigeria plans local refining of crude oil
Nigeria plans to resume the local refining of crude oil in early August, according to an announcement by the national petroleum authorities. The process, when it starts, will end years of idleness at Nigeria’s state-owned refineries and analysts say if successfully implemented, could lower fuel prices. Timothy Obiezu reports from Abuja.
