NBA Africa CEO speaks on empowering African entrepreneurs, announces new accelerator program

The Africa branch of the U.S.’s National Basketball Association, NBA Africa, has expanded its initiatives on the continent, beyond the annual premier Basketball Africa League, BAL, which empowers local athletes. In an interview with VOA’s Jackson Mvunganyi, Clare Akamanzi, the CEO of NBA Africa said the sporting body has launched the Triple Double” NBA Africa Startup Accelerator program which is focused on providing entrepreneurs on the continent with access to capital and mentorship.
