Namibia Ruling Party Paves Way for First Female Presidential Candidate

Namibia's Deputy Prime Minister, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, was declared winner of the ruling party SWAPO’s vice presidency. Her victory paves the way for her to be the first female presidential candidate in the next general election in 2024.
