Mandela Washington Fellowship Alumnus Helps DRC Victims
Passy Mubalama, an alumnus of the U.S. Mandela Washington Fellowship and the founder of AIDPROFEN, a Congolese aid group focused on uplifting women, is using her platform to help victims of sexual violence that are based in camps dedicated to Internally Displaced Persons in Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. VOA’s Paul Ndiho recently visited Lushagala camp and produced this report that details the works of Mubalama.
