Malaria parasites gain resistance to anti-malarial drugs, experts say
Health specialists from the Pathogen Genomic Diversity Network of Africa, PDNA, have started researching how malaria parasites have gained resistance to anti-malaria drugs. For insight on the research, VOA’s Alexandrine Holognon spoke with Professor Abdoulaye Djimdé, a Mali-based malaria researcher and the president of PDNA.
