Liberia’s President Boakai Names Cabinet

Liberian President Joseph Boakai has begun naming his cabinet following his inauguration on Monday. A press release from the president’s office late Wednesday said Boakai nominated seven cabinet ministers pending Senate confirmation, including Sarah Beysolow Nyanti for foreign minister. Rodney Sieh, publisher and editor-in-chief of Liberia’s FrontPage Africa news magazine, tells VOA’s James Butty , some of the president’s cabinet nominations have so far are being met with dissatisfaction by some ruling Unity Party members
