Ivorian health experts turn to monitoring device to help reduce heart-related deaths
Cardiovascular diseases continue to be the leading cause of death worldwide, as reported by the World Health Organization, accounting for about 32% of deaths globally in 2019. Experts say a powerful tool called a heart monitor could help reduce mortality. Cardiologists in Abidjan, Ivory Coast are taking a hands-on approach to educate the community about the life-saving benefits of heart monitors.
