ICC Deputy Prosecutor speaks to VOA on finding accountability in DRC
The International Criminal Court (ICC) Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan recently announced the international tribunal is reopening its investigation into the Democratic Republic of Congo due to allegations of war crimes, and crimes against humanity, particularly in the country’s North Kivu province. Speaking to VOA’s Eddy Isango, ICC Deputy Prosecutor Mame Mandiaye Niang said that the organization is focused on holding those who may have committed crimes fully accountable under international law.
