Health Expert Discusses Breast Ironing and its Impact on Adolescent Girls
Health experts in Africa say the controversial breast ironing has affected at least 3.8 million women in the continent, particularly in Cameroon and Nigeria. Dr. Yunus Habeeb is the General Surgeon at the State Specialist Hospital in Nigeria’s Borno State. He joined VOA’s Africa 54 where he explained how breast ironing affects adolescent girls in Africa.
