DRC Candidate: Outside Contenders Should be Disqualified

Noel Tshiani, a presidential candidate in the Democratic Republic of Congo’s December 20 elections is calling for contenders that are based outside the nation to be disqualified from running. In an interview with VOA’s James Butty, Tshiani said any candidate selected outside the country would be controlled by foreign interests.
