Democratic Party delegates set to nominate VP Harris as US election candidate

Thousands of Democratic Party delegates are set to meet this week in the Midwest city of Chicago for the Democratic National Convention, DNC, where they will nominate Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as their official candidates for the 2024 U.S. elections that will be held in November.
