Colorado Springs: A Good City for Migrants
The George W. Bush Institute in Texas has ranked metropolitan areas across America where it says immigrants are being embraced and thriving. Colorado Springs in the state of Colorado has been ranked 21st out of the top 100 metro areas in the U.S. where immigrants are enjoying success. But this has come as a surprise as immigration activists said there are ''institutional, cultural barriers and definitely racism'' in the area. Senior VOA Washington correspondent Carolyn Presutti reports on how Colorado Springs, typically a conservative town, made the list.
