CAF President Lauds African Teams Performance at World Cup

Reflecting on the performance of the five African teams at World Cup, CAF President, Patrice Motsepe said on Wednesday that the national team “made all of us in Africa proud.” Speaking on Wednesday, Motsepe reviewed the world tournament that was incredibly successful for the continent, particularly for Morocco's historic run to the semi-finals. Motsepe expressed optimism that an African team would go to the World Cup final. “The main objective is indeed, an African nation will indeed win the World Cup. We have to believe,” Motsepe added.
