Beyonce Tops Country Music Charts, Davido Funds Nigerian Orphanages & More...
American music icon, Beyoncé, aka Queen Bee made history with her latest hit, "Texas Hold Em," topping the country music charts all while trending on TikTok. Nigerian Afrobeats singer Davido, is turning his music fortunes to uplifting lives by donating close to $200, 000 to 424 orphanages in Nigeria, through his David Adeleke Foundation. And Disney released Iwaju, a limited animated series on its Disney+ streaming service, as its first feature set in Nigeria. The series is a project co-produced by Disney and Kugali media, a comics and augmented reality studio founded by two Nigerians, Olufikayo Adeola and Tolu Olowofoyeku, and Ugandan filmmaker Hamid Ibrahim.
