According to the United Nations, the number of people going hungry in Sudan is likely to rise from the 16.2 million prior to the conflict to 19.1 million by August. The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, or IFRC, is giving aid to civilians by helping with food donations and medicine.
