Using AI to Boost South Africa's Farming Industry
An AI program, Kuronga, is being used to change the farming industry in South Africa. According to analysts, embracing AI can lead to increased benefits for both farmers and consumers. VOA’s Paul Ndiho spoke to Oliver Windram, Kuronga's chief technology officer, who explains that with the program farmers are able to receive real-time updates on weather, route optimizations, and the best harvest and crop storage times.
