Sierra Leone's First Lady, Fatima Maada Bio says she is excited about the new Prohibition of Child Marriage law banning child marriage in the West African country. She says the law will ensure the protection of girls and punish those who engage in marrying girls who are under 18 years old. In an exclusive interview with VOA's Peter Clottey, the Sierra Leonean first lady says the new law is a personal victory for women.
