MSF suspends activity at key Khartoum hospital
Doctors Without Borders, or MSF, has suspended its activities at one of the few hospitals still open in the capital of Sudan due to ongoing, violent attacks on patients and staff. Claire San Filippo, MSF emergency coordinator for Sudan tells VOA’s Carol Van Dam that for several months, armed fighters have repeatedly entered Bahsair Teaching Hospital in Khartoum and threatened patients and staff.
