Doctors Without Borders, or MSF, has suspended its activities at one of the few hospitals still operating in the capital of Sudan because of violent attacks on patients and staff. The lack of civil service salaries affects education, health care, businesses and family life. Broadcasting in the Luo language, a Kenyan journalist is reaching indigenous women via radio to improve media literacy and combat disinformation.
