Analyst: Incoming US President must tackle China’s Africa influence
It is eight more days before Americans go to the polls to elect a new president on November 5. Republican Party candidate Donald Trump and Democratic Party candidate Kamala Harris both have varying foreign policies. Trump will pursue an “America First” policy, while Harris will continue building alliances. Joseph Kioko, a Kenyan political analyst, tells VOA’s James Butty, while U.S. foreign policy is institutional, whoever wins in November will have to pay attention to China’s penetration into Africa
