Protesters in Mozambique’s capital, Maputo and other cities threw stones and burned tires after the country's ruling party was declared to have won the disputed presidential and parliamentary elections by a landslide. At least one person was killed. Drone footage from southern Morocco shows flooded palm trees and sand dunes across the Sahara Desert Thursday after rare rainfall hit the region.
