October is breast cancer awareness month. Observers say while global awareness of breast cancer has increased, many African countries face significant challenges in early detection, diagnosis, and treatment. VOA’s Linord Moudou and reporter Senanu Tord show how two countries, Kenya and Ghana, are addressing increased concerns about breast cancer and what is being done to expand access to care for the neediest.
