Malawi’s DPP: We are not source of President Chakwera’s rumored ill- health
Malawi’s main opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) is denying allegations by the government that the DPP is behind rumors about President Lazurus Chakwera’s purported ill health. Shadrick Namalomba, spokesperson for former President Arthur Peter Mutharika who is also the DPP candidate for the 2025 presidential election, tells VOA’s James Butty, that the DPP wishes President Chakwera good health so that he can be defeated in 2025
