Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan has rejected allegations that she might have played a role in the recent political killings and abductions in the country. She said she has never killed anyone. The Tanzania Citizen reports that the president issued the denial over the weekend while addressing the General Meeting of the Women’s Wing of the ruling Chama cha Mapinduzi (CCM). The country has been experiencing abductions and killings, including last month’s kidnapping and murder of Mohamed Ally Kibao of the opposition Chadema party.
