Sierra Leone’s Education Minister speaks to VOA about the country’s education successes
The deep divisions by the recent civil war in Sierra Leone left little incentive or money for advancing education, especially for women and girls. However, the country is applying new learning models aimed at addressing the persistent barriers affecting its population.
