Nigerian American advocates for greater involvement in American politics
With the US Presidential election just two months away activists are hard at work getting people mobilized to vote. One prominent Nigerian activist, Sylvester Okere, is helping to lead the Nigerian diaspora towards greater political involvement to inspire change. Speaking to VOA’s Philip Alexiou, Okere details his life in the United States, as well as his work as the founder of the United People for African Congress.
