Zimbabwe Teachers Union slam convictions under vulnerable students' program
The Zimbabwe Teachers Union is criticizing the conviction and sentencing of a school head and his deputy for abusing the Basic Education Assistance Module facility, a government program intended for vulnerable children. The two put their children on the list of beneficiaries. He says while teachers earn an equivalent of $300 per month, they need over $1,200
