Ethiopian artist uses music to educate people on the importance of self-discovery and mutual respect
Fiker Yeshewas, an Ethiopian musician who has been captivating audiences with her voice and the positive messages in her songs, is using her latest album titled “Fiker” which means “love” in Ahmaric, to educate people on the importance of self-discovery and mutual respect. Yeshewas recently visited VOA’s studios where she sat down with reporter Habtamu Seyoum.
