Vaccine shortages hinder mpox inoculation in Africa
The Africa Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which officially declared the ongoing mpox outbreak a public health emergency recently, has said the continent will need 10 million doses of vaccines to stop the spread of the disease. Experts, however, say the global shortage of mpox vaccines will affect any inoculation drives in Africa. Juma Majanga reports from the VOA Africa News Center in Nairobi
