Italians embrace government efforts to curb illegal migration
Italians based in the island of Lampedusa have welcomed government-led attempts to prevent increasing illegal migration by people crossing the Mediterranean from Africa — a plan which analysts say if executed well could serve as a model for all European nations. VOA’s Henry Wilkins has more.
