South African women take up beekeeping to generate income
Lulu Letlape, a South African woman, has joined her counterparts across the continent in turning to beekeeping to generate an income. Since starting her business, she has over 100 hives and lobbies to protect bees while training other women to follow in her footsteps. Reuters’ Thando Hlophe has more.
