Uganda blasts UN claims of ties with M23 rebels
The Uganda Monitor newspaper reports a panel of experts says Uganda has allowed the M23 and other rebel leaders to evade international sanctions, including hosting them. Uganda’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Oryem Henry Okello says the accusations are baseless. He tells VOA’s Douglas Mpuga, that on the contrary Uganda has been trying to bring about peace and stability in the region.
