Human activity possess risk to River Nile’s ecosystem
Africa’s longest river flows through 11 countries, helping to sustain more than 200 million people directly or indirectly. However, the very lifeblood of these nations is under threat from increasing human activity upstream that poses a significant risk to the River Nile's fragile ecosystem.
