South Africa’s President Ramaphosa backs unity government
South African President Cyril Ramaphosa says the ruling African National Congress (ANC) accepts the outcome of the May 29th presidential and provincial elections and the frustrations and aspirations of South Africans. Speaking late Thursday night at the conclusion of the ANC National Executive Council meeting, President Ramaphosa said what the ANC needs to do is to set up a government of national unity, one that advances the interests of all South Africans.
