Niger unmoved by US efforts to remain in country
With the imminent military withdrawal from the United States, questions remain about how Niger will protect its citizens from a variety of militant groups seeking to destabilize the region. VOA’s Esther Githui-Ewart spoke to Kwaku Nuamah, a Professor of International Politics at American University, for an analysis on how Niger will maintain its security commitments.
